2008 Summer Reading: "Read...Naturally"

Sunday, June 1 through Thursday, July 31

All district cardholders, ages 2 through adult, are invited to join the summer reading club "Read...Naturally" at the Palatine Public Library. Enjoy nature as the outdoors comes inside the Library! This summer's program will include reading, fun, and prizes. For the very first time, high school readers will have their own category! Bring your Palatine Public Library card and sign up at the Main Library beginning Sunday, June 1. Freeman Road and Rand Road Branches begin sign up Monday, June 2. The Bookmobile will begin sign up on Saturday, June 7. Participants junior high age and under will earn a halfway prize and Reading Rewards coupons for completing all the reading requirements. Everyone who completes the program will receive a grand prize T-shirt, generously provided by the Friends of the Palatine Library. The program ends on Thursday, July 31, at the respective closing time of each branch!

Memory Loss in Your Loved One

This educational workshop, hosted by life advisors Tamara Mallette, David Anyder, and Christopher Nudo, will provide valuable resources and effective strategies to help you secure a better quality of life for you and your loved one.
